We understand moving and selling a home is never just one move, but a series of carefully timed steps. At Do It Haul, as part of our business, we’ve created a moving service designed to support owners and clients from first showing to final key handoff.

Our “Sale-to-Settle” model is a 3 phase moving solution tailored for listings:

Phase 1 – Pre-Sale Prep
We move the homeowner’s current furniture out — whether that’s into storage, to donation, or elsewhere.

Phase 2 – Staging Support
We coordinate directly with your home stager to deliver and set up staging furniture on time and with care. We’ll be back for the de-stage to have the house cleared for the new owners.

Phase 3 – Final Move
After closing, we return to move owners and clients into their new homes — handling everything from their previous locations to settling in.

Hourly Moving Rates

• $150/hour, with a 2 hour minimum

• Billed in 30 minute increments after the first 2 hours

• Travel time is added for jobs more than one (1) hour from our depot in Raleigh (27606) — billing starts when our crew hits the road and ends when the job is complete

Our flat-rate services include:

• Single item delivery - Perfect for furniture drop-offs or delivery

• One room moves - Great for small apartments, dorm rooms, or studios

• Two room moves - Ideal for light household moves or partial transitions

• Furniture assembly / disassembly - Helpful for beds, shelving, and more. Oversized or custom pieces can be quoted separately

We’ll quote your flat rate up front based on the job details so you always know what to expect before moving day. We keep it simple so you can focus on the move — not the math.

Flat Rate Services

Perfect for smaller jobs or quick transitions:

• Single-item delivery (one-piece move): $175

• One room delivery: $275

• Two room delivery: $400

• Furniture assembly / disassembly: $250 flat (covers most basic setups; oversized / custom quoted separately) 

Additional Fees

To ensure safety and proper staffing, we apply a small additional fee for apartments on the 3rd floor or higher with no elevator.  Exact amount quoted based on access and load size.
